During the treatment, the solution is expertly implanted into the area, where it begins a natural osmosis process. Over the following days, the pigment gradually rises to the surface and lightens. Most clients need between 2-6 sessions for a full lift-out, depending on the history of the formula used on previous PMU. A complete fade isn’t guaranteed, and you might be referred to laser if the pigment doesn’t respond well to chemical removal. Similarly, with laser treatments, chemical removal might be recommended instead if the pigment is ineffective or changes color.
